We are delighted to invite dancers ages 6 and up to participate in our first production of The Nutcracker! Dancers MUST have participated in a ballet class for the 2025-2026 season to be eligible to audition.

Important Dates:

• August 2nd: Auditions, 12:00–4:00 PM (2nd street studio)

• August 7th: Casting released

• August 14th: Signed Cast Agreement Due

• August 31st: Rehearsals Begin/Full Cast Meeting

• August 31st- September 11th: Nutcracker Intensive (evening weekday rehearsals)

• Rehearsals held on Saturdays & Sundays

• December 11th, 12th & 13th: Tentative Dress Rehearsal & Show Dates

• Ages 6 and up

Audition Information:

• Dancers must have participated in a ballet class during the 2025-2026 season to audition.

• Dancers must wear a leotard and tights. (skirt or shorts optional)

• Hair must be secured in a clean bun before arrival.

• Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to receive your audition number and warm up.

• Dancers should use this time to stretch and prepare their bodies for movement.

 

Participation Fee:

• The Nutcracker consists of two acts:

  • $500- to participate in Act I & Act II

  • $275- for either Act I or Act II

• Includes all costume fees

• Non‑refundable

• Available in 2‑payment or 4‑payment installments

Rehearsal Attendance Policy:

• Rehearsals will be scheduled by scene on Saturdays and Sundays.

• The rehearsal schedule will be released by September 1st.

• Dancers are allowed 2 absences for the season- No exceptions!

• More than 2 absences will result in the dancer being excused from the production​ without refund.

Expectations:

Participation in The Nutcracker requires dedication, teamwork, and consistent attendance. By joining the cast, dancers and families agree to uphold the rehearsal schedule, performance dates, and all studio policies to ensure a successful production for everyone involved.
