WHEN DO CLASSES START?

Fall classes begin September 10th.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ENROLL AT VISIONS DANCE COMPANY?

Our tuition rate begins at $52/ month for 1 hour class per week and $50/month for 45 minute class per week. Class fees vary based on length of class. 

HOW DO I REGISTER?

We offer online registration. Simply click on the registration tab above and follow the prompts. We also have registration forms on hand; you can send us an e-mail at VisionsDanceCo@gmail.com to let us know you'd like to register in person.

I'M UNSURE WHAT CLASSES MY CHILD IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE.

Don't worry! Our teachers are very experienced and can give guidance based on your child's age and relative experience. We are also offering a week of introductory classes to place students. Please contact VisionsDanceCo@gmail.com for more information.

WHAT SHOULD STUDENTS WEAR TO CLASS?

Students enrolled in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, or Combination class should wear any color leotard and tights. Shorts and skirts are permitted as well as knit warm-ups for winter months. For Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theater and classes in combination with the music program, students should wear comfortable clothing that they can move in. No jeans or long pants will be permitted in dance class. Hair should be secured in either a ponytail or bun (buns required for ballet classes).

 

Boys enrolled in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, or Combo should wear a white or black t-shirt and black leggings, capris, or shorts.

Mini and Petite Combo- girls pink ballet slippers, boys white or black ballet slippers, AND tan tap shoes.

Mini Dance Combo (in conjunction with music class)- pink ballet shoes

Juniors Dance Combo (in conjunction with music class)- black jazz shoes and black split-sole hip-hop sneakers.

Juniors Combo (tap/jazz)- girls tan Oxford style tap shoes and tan slip-on jazz shoes, boys black oxford tap shoes and black slip-on jazz shoes.

Juniors Combo (ballet, jazz, lyrical)- girls pink ballet slippers, nude foot undeez, and tan jazz shoes.  Boys black ballet shoes and nude foot undeez.

Ballet- pink canvas or leather ballet slippers

Jazz- Tan Oxford Jazz shoes (slip-on style preferred)

Tap- Black Oxford Style Tap shoes

Hip Hop- Black split-sole Hip Hop sneaker

Modern- Barefoot preferred, foot undies permitted

WHERE DO I FIND DANCE SHOES AND ATTIRE?

Visions is now partnered with DB Dance Boutique, an in-house shop offering dance shoes and attire.  We can provide shoe sizing at the studio to ensure a proper fit.

MY CHILD IS NERVOUS ABOUT THEIR FIRST CLASS. WHAT CAN I DO?

HOW WILL I KNOW IF A CLASS IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER?

We will announce closings on our studio website, as well as Twitter (Visions_Dance), Facebook (www.Facebook.com/VisionsDanceCo), and Instagram (Visionsdanceco).

WHERE IS VISIONS DANCE COMPANY LOCATED?

Visions Dance Company has a new home!! Our new address is 116 S. Pear St. in Boyertown.


Directions-

From Philadelphia Ave: turn southward onto South Washington Ave, turn right onto 3rd St, and Left onto S. Pear St. 

From S. Reading Ave: turn Eastward on 2nd St, and Left turn onto S. Pear St.


**Select classes are held at  the Music Studio of Patricia Keith located at 10 S. Reading Ave.

CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF AND RETURN ONCE HE/SHE IS FINISHED?

Yes! Parents are welcome to stay and wait or drop off and return for students at the end of class.

WHAT IS VISIONS DANCE PERFORMANCE COMPANY?

Visions Dance Performance Company, or VDPC, is a select group of elite dancers that present a pre-professional Spring Show each March.  Company dancers also perform in numerous community events throughout the year.  Dancers are selected on an invitation-only basis.  Please visit our VDPC page for more information.

DOES VISIONS DO COMPETITIONS?

Yes!  Visions offered competition to select dancers beginning in 2017 and hopes to grow this program in 2018.  Dancers interested in competing must be members of VDPC and meet all eligibility requirements.  For more information, please visit our Competition page.
