BALLET 5/6
Designed for experienced ballet students, this class offers focused training for dancers ready to refine and elevate their technique. Students work on the precise execution of advanced movements, with dedicated emphasis on leaps, turns, strength, and artistry. The curriculum supports both technical growth and performance quality. Dancers in this class will perform a Ballet piece in the end‑of‑year Showcase.
Dress Code-
Boys: White or black t‑shirt, black leggings, shorts, or tights, and black ballet shoes.
Girls: Leotard and tights in any color; skirts permitted. Pink ballet slippers. Hair secured in a bun.
JAZZ 5 & JAZZ 6
Duration 1 hour
This class is designed for dancers who already have a foundation in Jazz technique and are ready to advance their skills. Students focus on improving performance quality, musicality, and precision while working toward more challenging leaps, turns, and combinations. The class emphasizes strength, style, and confidence in movement. Dancers in this class will perform a Jazz piece in the end‑of‑year Showcase.
Dress Code-
Boys: white or black t-shirt, black leggings, capris, or shorts, and black oxford style jazz shoes.
Girls: leotard and tights of any color, shorts or skirts are permitted, tan oxford style jazz shoes, and hair in ponytail or bun.
TAP 5/6
This class develops strong tap fundamentals with a focus on rhythm, timing, and clarity of sound. Students explore elements of both Broadway and Rhythm Tap, learning to execute movements with speed, accuracy, and expressive musicality. As technique improves, dancers work toward more complex combinations and performance quality. Dancers in this class will perform a Tap number in the end‑of‑year Showcase.
Dress Code- comfortable clothing that you can move in and black oxford tap shoes. Jeans and long pants will not be permitted.
MODERN 5 & MODERN 6
CONTEMPORARY 5 & CONTEMPORARY 6
Duration- 1 hour
Students will explore core Modern techniques including spiral, fall and recovery, contraction and release, and expansion, all while connecting movement to dynamics and emotion. Throughout the year, dancers are introduced to classical Modern styles such as Graham, Limón, Cunningham, and Horton, gaining a broad understanding of the genre’s foundations. Improvisational exercises are incorporated to encourage creativity, individuality, and movement exploration. Dancers in this class will perform a Modern piece in the end‑of‑year Showcase.
Dress Code-
Boys: white or black t-shirt, black leggings, capris, or shorts, and bare feet.
Girls: leotard and footless or convertible tights of any color, shorts or skirts are permitted, bare feet, and hair in ponytail or bun.
Duration- 1 hour
Students will blend ballet, modern and jazz together in this unique and expressive dance form. Floor work, jumps/leaps and turns will be incorporated into this class routine.
Dress Code-

Girls: leotard and footless or convertible tights of any color, shorts or skirts are permitted, bare feet, and hair in ponytail or bun.
