Visions Dance
Competition Team

The competition team is open to dancers age 5 and older who are accepted by audition. Dancers must meet certain criteria as described on the Competition Team Audition page. The competition team (VDCT) provides dancers with the opportunity to perform solos, duets, trios, and group dances for adjudication at various competitions throughout the area. Dancers must meet eligibility and rehearsal requirements as set forth in the Competition Handbook.

Team is the perfect place for hard-working, fun-loving dancers that are looking for a challenge, enjoy performing on stage, and have a competitive spirit.

Dancers will be grouped based on age and ability level to best correspond to competitive levels (mini, petite, junior, teen, senior, novice, intermediate, and advanced).

Fundraising is available to help offset the cost of entry fees. Most of our competitions are within an hour drive or closer. Dancers are not required to be at all events.

Visions Dance
Performance Company

Company (VDPC) is open to dancers 9 and older who are accepted by audition. This pre-professional opportunity is designed to provide additional performance events to our most dedicated dancers. We currently have four company levels: Junior, Intermediate, Senior 2, and Senior 1. Dancers are required to attend weekly rehearsals and be enrolled in at least one ballet class. Senior company members must also take Contemporary and Jazz classes. A one-time fee applied in the Fall covers the cost of all rehearsals and costume rentals. Dancers perform in an annual spring showcase in addition to numerous community events and local festivals. Some events require additional cost, but attendance is not mandatory. VDPC members are also expected to engage in community service and uphold Visions core values as role models inside and outside of the studio.
